McCoy gives a second opinion on videos, stories, pictures, and messages you send us by text. Our answers ("likely fake," "likely real," "be careful") are our best judgment from the evidence we can find. They are not a guarantee. Always check with your bank, the person involved, or someone you trust before sending money or personal information.
Program name: McCoy
What you'll receive: a reply to each item you send us, plus an optional weekly quiz on Sundays. If you approve family alerts, a family member you choose gets a text when something you send us asks for money. Family members receive those alerts and sign-in codes.
How you join: text MCCOY to our number ((757) 290-8109), or have a family member sign you up. Either way, you get a welcome text and are enrolled only after you reply YES.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. After you reply STOP we'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and nothing after that. Reply START to rejoin.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
